Here is a love story or maybe its more of a life story.
This is a story about Tom and his experience with and without a girl called Summer.
To be honest I dont want to say much about this film because telling you what happens will not paint the correct picture about the film.
This film is a Journey and you live with Tom and learn from Tom as he learns from Summer and she learns from Tom. Watch it.
Its feels good to watch, sounds good to listen to and its edited and acted well.
Anyway just a little review so hope you gals and guys have a watch if you haven't already and have a good night!

Road to Perdition
I first saw Tom Hanks on the cover and I thought Steven Spielberg but no this is coincidentally Sam Mendes the same director of American Beauty.
It shows with the same DP and an amazing director we can straight away feel a simular feeling to American Beauty, but watch it and it isn't, the story is different, the characters are different.
This is a tale of fathers and sons and change, the rest you will have to watch.
What I will say that this is a slow paced movie that doesn't hook you with fantastic action sequences and hard hitting dialogue but rather a beautiful tale with deep and mysterious characters.
I would suggest to watch this film and listen to its amazing score though nice speakers and take it seriously as it should take you on a straight forward story with no major twist and turns but one that will leave you refreshed and enjoying and reflecting life just a little more than when you started watching.

Look Closer an American Beauty review
American Beauty. One the most amazing films of my generation. Does it live in the now or has it faded away behind that amazing red door?
If you didn't know American Beauty is a feature film about...well a few things actually. Many people watch this film and find something that inspires them and some watch this film and think purely of the simple story that it shows of a man Lester Burnam and his last year of his life. To me this is a story about beauty and finding a way to enjoy it to its fullest. I see the story of Lester and I see someone who tries to get it back. What he has lost well I think he has lost touch with the world, with his family and with the simple things in life.
I find that once I take the journey of this film I feel uplifted motivated and just "great".
So watching this years and years later do i still feel great? Well yes, this film slowly takes you in to a world that no one like to see. A world of imprisonment, a joyless world and then at it apex flips it upside down and we as an audience see the slow reconstruction and resolution to a person who finally grasps a sense of happiness which he finds in an unexpected place.
I think American Beauty will become a classic in time and I am sure to watch it again and again over the many years to come.
I suggest people to get a glass of wine and enjoy this film from the very moment it starts to final serenade after its resolution.
